Taking Woodstock

Gabe will be in an upcoming Ang Lee film, "Taking Woodstock". Ang Lee is the Academy Award winning director of "Brokeback Mountain", and also directed "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". "Taking Woodstock" is based on a book by Elliot Tiber. It's the true story of how Elliot enabled the groundbreaking concert to be located in his friend Max Yasgar's field and the whirlwind events that followed, as the festival took on a life of its own, eventually attracting around 500,000 people to the small upstate NY town. Gabe will play Elliot's friend. Filming is set to begin in early September, 2008 in upstate NY.

Gabe auditioned for, but didn't get the lead role in a Jennifer Lopez project because he was deemed, "Not sexually charismatic enough." This short was his reaction. 1 million people have watched this video on You Tube.

My Suicide

My Suicide is a teen coming-of-age romantic dramedy about Archie Williams (Gabe), a media-obsessed geek and Sierra (Brooke Nevin), the most beautiful and twisted girl in school. Archie and Sierra team up and become the oddest couple when they determine to expose the hypocrisy of their high school by revealing the true desires, fears and ambitions of the students. Through their journey and the honest evaluation they come up with, we begin to see 21st Century high schoolers in an amazingly revealing light.

The movie also stars David Carradine, Mariel Hemingway, and Nora Dunn.  Gabe was chief editor and plays the lead role. This movie is in post production and should be in theaters in 2009.
